They loved your GPA, then they saw your tweets
This article's purpose was to bring to light what you shouldn't say on social media. When kids post things on the internet they don't think twice who will see it and so they aren't careful what they say. The author is saying that college's may look at what you post on social media and what you say on it can affect whether the college wants you in their school or not. Some of the things in the blog that surprised me were that colleges keep track of what you say online and that even if what is on your account may not be true they still take it as truth, therefore possibly skewing the selection process. I was questioning the fact that even if they find some things that concern them they don't contact you to ask why, but instead just decline you acceptance into their school. This makes me think twice about what you post on the internet for everyone to see.
